To change the oil, you need the following supplies and tools: Sufficient amount of new oil
oil, new oil filter, copper seal, oil filter key, socket wrench
(for drain plug), lifting jack, trat, pouring jug and
a squeegee (for wiping the oil) and a container for draining the oil. Which one is suitable as a draining container
any platter.
Lift the car with a jack up enough to reach under the engine
to the located drain plug. There may be a protective plate in front, then there is a protective plate first
detachable from the front. Open with a socket wrench
drain plug and place a drain pan underneath.
If the car has been driven recently, be careful when it gets hot
motor oil.
Allow the oil to drain from the engine, remove the oil filler cap on top of the engine to
the oil would drain out of the engine faster. Change the oil filter. In most cars
the oil filter is located on either side of the engine. In some cases
the filter has its own container (e.g. BMW brand cars). These are only exchanged
filter interior.
Remove the filter with an oil filter wrench. There is usually motor oil in the filter, no
careful not to spill the oil on the ground. Place around or under the filter housing ready
a sufficiently large rag so that the leaking oil does not dirty the engine room.
