The meter will show the first numbers after about 2-3 hours, as long as the consumption has accumulated enough to show the numbers. In other words, the device has been in use for so long that the consumption has grown so large that the price (€) is displayed with two decimal places and the energy (Kwh) so much that it is displayed with one decimal place.

For example: If you have a mobile phone charger with a power of 20 W and the price of electricity is €0.09/kWh. You have to have the phone charging for 3 hours for the price to increase by €0.01 and then the consumption is 0.06 kWh (in this case the consumption is shown on the meter as 0.0 kWh).
